It's been a while...and I can't sleep.

From Christmas!:)

Chelsee is 16!!

Julian is now 1 years old!

Greetings to all out there.
Yes it is an insane hour to be awake but 1. I have a heart burn from eating my fabulous Chicken Parmesan and 2. I have much on my mind.

I know a questionable amount of time has passed since I've last shared, but hey this thing is a time waster! So here I am sitting on the couch in the living room, typing away in the wee hours of the morning... which I hate... I have this wierd thing about early morning hours... they kind of creep me out... oh great now I just scared myself. Anyhow... let me share the newest and greatest of things happening in my life... oh boy.

Life is pretty fabulous right now. I have much to be thankful for. I have surrounded myself with people who are real and love me and have discarded those who aren't and don't. If I've learned anything over these hard grueling years It's to always always stay true to myself, those who love me, my dreams, and aspirations. I'm not exactly in the place I want to be, but I'm oh so far from where I used to be. I know I'm not one for specfics or long pep talks but all in all... I'm great. Life is great. I still believe God is great and that about sums it all up. Amen.

p.s. I decided to take a picture of random things everyday for the rest of my life... Dont ask...

The Color Purple.

I know I take forever to put up new posts but, I still love you. I'm alive and well, after flying home from Tulsa last month, my life fell back into its usual unrelenting pace. But today, I stopped and took a moment to actually take a breath and think about myself and things around me. Life is surely an adventure. But so far there hasn't been amything that I couldn't handle. Woo. Here's a couple pics of some of the things I've been doing since I got home... Yayers.

I'm alive and well... If you were worried. :)

Mkkkay so I know I've been terrible at this "blogging" business, but hey you should have facebook! :) haha... Anyway my life has been full of fantasicalness these past few months. Ok ok there's been a few set backs but it wouldn't be life without them.
So lets see the hightlights of my life??? Well Youth Connect was just about a week and a half ago, and words cannot describe how awesomely powerful the services were. Bro. Marks was so in tune I felt truly blessed to be able to be a part of it. The times are a-changin' and I'm ready for it! Shaboo! Oh yes but before all of this... I helped Sherms and Nay move to Oklahoma... Yes we drove... Yes it was an adventure. :) Lets just say driving for 26hrs through flat lands is enought to make one go crazy out of their mind! WOW. I had so much fun... There's nothing better than spending time with real and good friends. I miss Sheramy and Nay terribly but I know this move will and has been good for them. So I cannot be bitter. :) There's not much else going on in my life... Just staying with busy with church and my family. So that's all I need to say for now I guess... Maybe next time I won't be so boring. :) Oh wait... I just want to say that I'm thankful for the friends that I do have. You keep me sane and grounded. Smoochies.

UPDATES: Ontario Play/ The Marin's Visit/ Hilltop's Ladies Confrence

Weeeeell. I haven't been exactly blogging as things happen... just sort of taking pictures here and there and storing the info in my brains. But these past couple of weeks have been plenty eventful. Actually this past whole month has. March has been good for the soul. Like Chicken Soup! hee hee! Seriously though, it has been an amazing month.
So lets venture back in time, a couple weeks ago, March 20th. Some of our lovely Hilltop youth made a trip to lovely Ontario, CA for their comedic version of Esther(the play). The drive was grueling. But it was good seeing a couple of old and dear friends and even some family!!

some of our lovely ladies... and me.

Now the next day was even a betttter treat!! My verrrry bestest friends (Chanel & Samantha) in the whole world came to visit me, and of course to visit others too... :) hee hee. ( Actually it was neither. Their dad came to preach at our church on Sunday. I just wanted to feel special!) But yes, I did get to spend Saturday with them and it was almost perfection. Saturday evening we went to dinner at Applebee's then we were off to our dear friend Jesse's Jazz Recital at SDSU. Food and music. Yay! Jesse did a lovely (yes my fav word) job then we were off. We went to Bennigans just to hang out with everyone who went to the concert and I paid for my drink with change. Classsssy huh?! Yup I know! :) Another lovely day in the hoods of San Diego. Then it was ZZzZZZZZ time.

Sammy, Me, Chanel @ Applebees. Yay.

Jesse belting it out. Ohhh Lordy. He's good!

Nels & Jesse @ Bennigans.

I don't have alot of words to describe the services on that following Sunday morning and night, but lets just say God was there!!! Bro. Marin is a powerful preacher. And even though he didn't get to preach on Sunday night, I know his message would've been just phenomenal as the mornings. I haven't felt God's presence like that in a very long time, but I've been feeling it everyday since!! GLORY! hee hee.
In the end I just couldn't get enough of my lovely friends and had to go home with them... so me, Chanel, and Sam headed to my house packed my clothes for the week and took off to Orange County! WOo hooo! It was a awesome and refreshing time! I love spending time with them! They truly are the best gals ever! Smooches my dears!

chanel and me being... our lovely selves.

I ended up coming home Thursday afternoon to be thrown into the planning and prep for the upcoming Ladies Confrence at our church. Ferosh basket making skills I have! hee hee. Friday me and Samantha H. from my church went purse shopping for a Missions Fundraiser and let me tell you... buying cheap purses is nooooooo easy task!! We were suppose to buy 20 we ended up with 12. Yeah. So I know you're thinking, buying purses... should be super easy for any woman with a sense of style... not uh... cheap ugly purses everywhere... ugh. We did find a couple of very cute ones but some were so ugly it made Samantha sick! haha. Pooooor her!! OOOOOOOh... and the night before this... I was bit by a spider!! In my very own bed! EW. ICKY. YUCK! I am soooo digusted. It ended up not being a nice spider and I had to go to the doctors after my purse buying spree. They put me on antibiotics and my leg looked like it was about to fall off. Pooor me. Yes I derserve your sympathy!! :)
Well after all this... Saturday rolled around and proved to be another lovely day!!! Sis. Aisha was crazzzzzyyy awesome!! I was rooting like "yeah!! that's my girl!!" :) I love her so much! She is such an awesome woman!! Sis. Wendell (sp?) is a firecracker!! I hope I too have that much spunk when I am her age!! ( 77 I think)

Then along came Sunday... Bro. Joel Buxton preached... "Jesus is not in a Recession". Blessings Laawd!! hee hee. I just can't believe it sometimes how much I have to be thankful for!! No matter what's going on in my personal life... God is there... blessing, leading, teaching, molding, making, loving, and protecting! He truly is my everything! Amen Amen! :) Sunday Night Sis. Wendell spoke on world missions and talked about leprosy... how it can be looked at spiritually and effect you spiritually also if not detected in time. It was a beatiful message and you could feel the pulling of God's presence. It truly was a beautiful weekend!

FERRY RIDE AND BUENA PARK...LAST WEEKEND

Here it is... the promised post. Hip Hip Hooray! So last weekend was ferosh and fab all in one.

NOW lets start with... BUENA PARK. How lovely it is to have lovely friends!!! So Saturday Evening was Youth on Fire at my bestest friend's (Chanel) church in Buena Park. I drove like a mad woman to her house thinking I would make it in time to visit just a wee wittle bit before the service but nope she had chorale practice. I didn't even have time to hug her. I got to see her run into her car... not fair! But we got to the service and it was awesome! The preaching was awesome and now i'm so ready for revival! :) woo hoo! We all went to Shaky's Pizza and then hung out at the Marins...It got super late so me and Chowie stayed the night and came home on Sunday afternoon. It was a great weekend!!

So Friday night some of our youth group met down at the San Diego Harbor and took the ferry to Coronado Island. While waiting everyone got a lil antsy and we started to mess around and play some really stupid (sorry that's not a nice word) :) games. Like the Dr. Detangle game or something like that and then some hand games like "slide" and "hot hands" (yeah ouch). Of course I was lady like and mature in allll activities... fun times! We were entertainment for sure. :) Once we got on the boat it was chilly/icy/cold, but oh so delightful! haha. Emilio was quite the entertainment, he knows I love fashion so him and Ricky gave me a fashion show in the center aisle of the ferry. Silly youngsters. Anyway... back to the boat...it was a cold blustery evening, laughter was audible... haha im kidding... but yes laughter... cold... all this and that... it was great. We arrived at Coronado and ate yucky fast food walked around, took pictures, and then made it back to the boat. Overall it was a super lovey and joyous evening. Yay for roosters.

Dr. Detangle or whatever its called.

This was my first year going and me and my sissy (Chelsee) went with Sheramy and Shenay. Omg- it was a blast. I bug Sheramy (on purpose folks) all the time anyway but with Shenay it was soooo much more fun! We're like double trouble! I was able to see old friends who, of course I didn't take ANY pictures with, but I always have them in my heart! :) It was a wonderfully refreshing time spiritually and mentally.
